Small business owners are challenged on a daily basis with creating demand for their product or service in their target markets. Capturing market share and increasing sales while providing great customer service will be reflected in the bottom line of any business and is a must if you want to keep your banker happy.
Creating, maintaining and managing your own Web site, for the promotion of your business, has become much easier in the past few years. A simple site, say 4 or 5 pages, can be created utilizing numerous software stools available on the market, either purchased for a nominal fee or acquired via shareware / freeware sites.
Your customers will need basic information about your business, products or services provided, location, hours of operation, phone number and email address for additional information. As simple as this may sound, this basic information is essential to creating awareness on the Web for your company, and the tools exist to help you create your site in a timely fashion.
Customers have been trained to “ Check out the Web Site ! ” when doing product research. If a potential customer can’t find your company and product information on the Web, chances are they will find your competitor.
